Valeriy showed excellent results all year and made the greatest contribution to his team, and his incredible headshots will be remembered by many fans, especially the match in the final of Major Copenhagen 2024. Jimi “Jimpphat” SaloAnother player who didn’t always play this role is Jimpphat. While playing for MOUZ NXT, he achieved very good results this year. Many people say that he is one of the best in clutches, as he has repeatedly dominated in 2vs1 situations. Myroslav “zont1x” PlakhotiaYet another Ukrainian player in this nomination, “zont1x”, but this year he played for the team “Spirit.” Some users on Twitter don’t quite agree with this choice, as among all the nominated players, there were better ones, such as Robin “ropz” Kool. HLTV AWPer of the Year 2024 Finalists Ilya “m0NESY” Osipovm0NESY – a player that Falcons and G2 almost fought over- a joke, but not without foundation. The Falcons organization was ready to pay a small amount for Ilya Osipov, but G2 categorically refused, as the Russian player performed well in 2024. Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolovsh1ro is the player who won the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 and should definitely have made it to the finalists’ list, but some Twitter users are still dissatisfied with the jury’s choice. However, be that as it may, only a strong player can win such a big and important tournament. Mathieu “ZywOo” HerbautThe French player, known worldwide, competed each year for the title of the best sniper – ZywOo. Although Mathieu did not win any major tournaments this year, his high performance throughout the year rightfully gives him the right to take a place on this list. Many would agree that Mathieu is a great player, and there are many more accurate shots ahead of him! HLTV Opener of the Year 2024 Finalists Danil “donk” KryshkovetsThe discovery of 2024 is Danil “donk” Kryshkovets – he started 2024 with an incredible performance at IEM Katowice 2024, wherein the final against FaZe, he made an incredible contribution to the victory, made a lot of kills and dominated throughout the tournament, making 3-4 kills per round. Throughout the year, he showed incredible results and even broke records in CS. Jonathan “EliGE” JablonowskiAnother player who demonstrated exceptional individual performance is EliGE. He showed not just a good result at some tournaments but beautiful and stable play throughout the year, keeping his performance significantly above average. Nikola “NiKo” KovačNiKo struggled a lot with the updated CS2, and his playstyle differed a bit from what needed to be shown on the competitive stage. It was difficult to adapt to the new smoke mechanics, and NiKo trained in the game day by day. But as you can see, all this was not in vain, and now he is one of the nominees for the “Opener of the Year” award. HLTV Closer of the Year 2024 Finalists Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiyb1t showed an incredible game with the AK-47 this year, and he is called a killing machine because his game has allegedly reached a new level. Few can beat his HS% of 65.0%, nor can they counter his precise lurk timings or clean strafes. Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo Jimpphat is a master of hide-and-seek, and he proved it in 2024 because of how many times he remained unnoticed, let enemies pass forward, and then, without a doubt, dealt with the enemy. Justinas “jL” LekaviciusImmediately, two NAVI representatives made it to this nomination. jL is an unconditional talent on the pro scene who shows incredible gameplay and inspires many players to try and play better! In 2024, he showed a lot of cool moments, and it was because of one of them that he was also nominated for “Highlight of the Year.” HLTV IGL of the Year 2024 Finalists Aleksi “Aleksib” VirolainenAleksib has been in the world of eSports for a long time, but he couldn’t truly shine as a bright star. He moved from team to team until he finally settled with the Ukrainian team, NAVI. Thanks to the coach and good support from teammates, he was able to show all his strength and skill, surpassing many other players. It can be said that Aleksib fully realized himself in 2024. Leonid “chopper” VishnyakovIn addition to Aleksib, chopper also managed to prove himself in 2024. Thanks to the team, he was able to show a good game. However, for many, it was chopper who became the subject of debates on social networks like Twitter and Reddit. For some reason, many users believe that chopper was chosen unfairly, as they feel Donk was the one who carried the team at the Shanghai Major. Finn “karrigan” Andersenkarrigan is a legendary player who deserves great ovations, as he has been demonstrating an incredible level of play for years. He teaches his viewers and kindly shares all the details of esports on his YouTube channel. But all this is not important because it is here that he deservedly takes the nomination for his mastery on the big stage, for his reaction, his ability to change tactics and give good instructions that will lead his team to victory. HLTV Coach of the Year 2024 Finalists Andrey “B1ad3” GorodenskiyUkrainian coach Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy, who is known worldwide for his ability to work with players, demonstrates how important the coach’s work is because once under his leadership, young “b1t” blossomed, and this year, “Aleksib” as well. B1ad3 is the very coach who held this title in 2021 and 2022 and is now coming to fight for this place again. Sergey “hally” ShavaevNot as famous as B1ad3, hally showed the world his perseverance and desire to teach his players this year. A lot was shown in the Spirit Shanghai Major documentary, but even without the film, it is clear how much the team has grown in one year under the leadership of hally. Dennis “sycrone” NielsenDennis “sycrone” Nielsen is the coach of MOUZ. Although the team hasn’t won any very important tournaments this year, they have managed to show a good and stable result throughout the year, and this is also a very important indicator that the team is working on itself and developing.
